One last look at the Twelve Zodiac Signs: Aquarius and Pisces

Greetings Stargazers!

To all of you Aquarians and Pisceans, I would like to apologize for the delay today. My mother just had back surgery and I've been at the hospital for the majority of the day.

However, I'm not too shy to make another trip to the stars.

Speaking of which, have you seen Jupiter in the heavens? And I think that I have been able to see Venus with it. In the Denver Metro Area, both planets have been in the western half of the sky.

The discoveries of Pluto are also becoming quite fascinating as well. Especially with how cameras will be able to zoom in and take pictures as to what the "dwarf planet" will look like from within (if all goes well, of course).

I love how Astrology can come into action right in your own very backyard (or close to, for the matter of Pluto).

Well, without further ado, Water bearers and Fish, the spotlight is on you--and don't worry, it's not as daunting as you think it will be.

Aquarius (January 19-February 20):

Many would say that Aquarius can be a very complex sign. Especially since the individuals who comprise this sign can be very eccentric.

For starters, Aquarius, like Scorpio, is ruled by two planets. There's Uranus, ruler of critical thinking, scientific rationale, empiricism and erraticism and then there's Saturn, ruler of discipline, focus and challenges.

With the Uranus factor, it would not be uncommon for the Aquarian to pride themselves on using logic in the everyday--logic in the form of approaching life as a extended scientific experiment. Whether they're fascinated by how the Atom bomb was composed, what the latest trend on string theory is or whether they are figuring out how to clean their house, our Water Bearers think empirically.

They may even approach all matters of their life, in steps: first we obliterate all of the mess that's on the floor and see how that works for house cleaning. Then we take a look at the carpets and observe the specimens that are on it. Then I would like to test a hypothesis on whether shampooing the carpets is superior to vacuuming, etc.

With approaching life like a scientist, Uranus also causes Aquarians to come across like rebels. One of the biggest things that an Aquarian likes to do is to question all set and rigid rules of society.
For example, if someone comes up to one of these personalities, insisting that he/she needs to dress up when attending the opera, the Aquarian may say something like, "Dress up? Who is the oppressive authoritarian who states all of these stupid rules? It's no wonder why the opera is so boring, when  people are completely repressed from being their own individuals."

Lo and behold, you'll probably find the Aquarian attending the opera in day glow hair, jeans and a very bright tank top or tee shirt, just to test the waters and see how society will or won't correct the mistaken dress code.

With Saturn in the mix, Aquarians are very dedicated and big picture individuals. Most infamous in Astrology, is the notion that Aquarius is the humanitarian. Indeed, our Water Bearers are dedicated and even fascinated by humanity as a whole. Their sense of dedication and focus drives them to do what can be possible to end childhood hunger, poverty or the lack of education (just to name a few causes). They can see how to cure a couple of ills in humanity by looking at the whole picture.

Their dedication, focus and discipline in these endeavors can be quite limiting, however, especially when one individual comes up to the Aquarian to ask for help. You see, humanity, at an individual level, can flummox and perplex and Aquarian because they're not used to looking at a smaller scale of things.

Between looking at everything in a logical manner and having a little difficulty at looking at a smaller scale, the biggest shadow side of this sign is that they can come across as being a little cold and detached.

However the chilliness usually fades when surrounded by friends.

If you have a friend, companion or relation in Aquarius, you will find someone who is unique and who has a very level head upon his/her shoulders. Because of their highly logical side, Aquarians are also great at giving very practical advice. I recommend listening to what they have to say.

Pisces (February 20-March 20):

If Pisces is at the end of the Zodiac, then the individuals who comprise the sign are the elders like Gandalf of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Merlin of the Arthurian Legends and Professor Dumbledore of the Harry Potter series.

Indeed Pisces are the sages, the poets, the philosophers who have a limitless depth of knowledge on humanity or on what make life turn.

Because of Neptune's influence, our two fish like to explore subjects to great depths. Rarely will you hear a Piscean personality complain of boredom or having enough when they are engaged in a subject that they're really interested within and passionate about.

Due to Neptune's influence, these are individuals who have a great amount of intuition and who are not afraid to use it. They're also rather sensitive and can be easily hurt by an ill timed word or a perceived insult.

Like Libra and Gemini, there is a dualistic nature to these wise and sensitive souls. While one fish likes to explore limitless depths, the other fish may be bound to earthly planes.

With these opposites pulling each other in two directions, Piscean personalities can also become rather confused when it comes to how to use their sage-like abilities, or just where to go within life. The confusion can be likened to seeing Merlin, questioning as to how he could use his magic in life.

When treated with disrespect, they can even grow so confused as to burn out or give up on what could be a search for great possibilities in life.

The next time when you feel burned out, dear fish, think of this: Albert Einstein was a famous Piscean. If it weren't for his limitless imagination, Quantum Physics would not have been born and Science would not have been able to move forward. Romantics can find great possibilities not yet discovered all because of imagination and the ability of thinking outside of the box. If confused, just reach for the stars and your answer will come.

If you have a Piscean companion, you will find the most sympathetic person, who is patient and who will listen to what you have to say. As with the aforementioned fictional characters, take their advice seriously. Who knows? The advice may lead to a much needed quest for your soul.

Well, Stargazers, here ends our trip of looking a little more closely at the twelve sign of the Zodiac. I hope the trip has been helpful.

Tomorrow, I will see what I can do about the weekly forecast. I just hope a couple of planets have moved a little.

Until then, happy journeys to the heavens!
